cannot read file

Hello,

I have a client that cannot open any files with excel. This error message
reads the this file can not open this file. It was fine yesterday. I tried
uninstallnig and reinstalling office to no avail. I did get all the patches
and updates from microsoft again to no avail. Any ideas!!!

I hope your messages are in English, if they aren't
you will have to do a little better on the translation.
With all this anonymous stuff (crap) we can't tell where you are
or who you are so if there is a language problem we can't
guess at that either.

Please give the exact wording of the message, complete
with punctuation.

And with that information you might even be able to find
your own answer in the newsgroup archives. Basically
that's how we get most of our answers.

You can try starting up Excel in "Safe Mode" which starts
Excel without macros and without addins.
