cannot receive emails. Error message 0X8004210E

Today we have been unable to receive emails on Outlook 2003.We get the above
error message but the solutions for this do not work.This is the message we
get-
Task 'POP.freeserve.com - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210E) : 'Your
mailbox is temporarily unavailable because another e-mail message is being
delivered to it or another mail application is accessing it. The server
responded: -ERR [IN-USE] Unable to open maildrop'
We have tried everything but cannot put it right

What did your ISP say when you contacted them? Can you access your mail using a web interface? What size does your ISP allow for mailboxes? Have you reached that limit?

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
