cannot register document

Just installed Word (fresh install) and even when just opening the program
without any document, the first message that comes up is "cannot register
document".
So I close Word and click on a .doc file and it comes up in word with the
same message, "cannot register document". If I close the error message
everything works as it should. I just want to get rid of the error message. I
am using XP pro with SP2.

If you have Norton Anti Virus, Disable the Office Plug-in option.
