Cannot reinstall after crash - Says cannot find Qualifying Install

I am trying to reinstall Office 2007 Pro after a OS crash and when I try to
rerun setup I get the error Cannot find Qualifying Installation of Microsoft
Office. I can still run all of the Office programs but Office is no longer
listed in the Software Add/Remove. I wanted to reinstall but it won't let me.
My older versions of Office are upgrades. I originally had Office 95 and
upgrades included 2000 and XP. It will not accept any of them I guess because
they are upgrades. I don't want to risk not being able to use 2007 buy
reinstalling my older versions and then do the various upgrades. Any
suggestion? What is the file the verification looking for?

You commence the install, when you get the msg, swap the cd, insert your
OfficeXP cd, verify it, reswap cd and continue with the installation

It will not recognize any of the disks. Not sure why it won't now, but it did
when I bought the upgrade back when it came out. I tried Office XP Pro,
Office 2000 Premium and Office 2003 Pro and all say cannot find Qualiying
Version.

When the App gives the msg re qualifying, you selected the option to browse
for it, then swaped the cd?

I tried browsing to the various CD's I have and even tried to point to
specific directories without success. Part of the problem is that it should
not even be trying to reinstall. It should give me the options to repair,
uninstall or change. Office 2007 is installed on my machine and I can run all
the programs.
