After uninstalling Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003 through the
add/remove program menu I have had problems.

Everytime I use a mail program such as Live Messenger or I click and e-mail
in Internet Explorer windows tries to reinstall Project, it also tries to
install Visio which is already installed and should not need to install.

First of all I do not wish for project to be installed again as it take to
much space on my machine but even if I wanted it says that files are missing
so I can not install. Basically I'm in an evil circle here I can not install
a program which windows tries frequently to install and there is no way I can
use my computer as intended.

Starting Messenger results in the Install which won't shut down unless I
ctrl+alt+del and then it brings Messenger down with it. Same with if I click
an e-mail in Internet Explorer (I asume it's when it want to open outlook)
the install for Office Project and Visio starts.

I don't know where to start I went into msconfig and tried to find some sort
of trigger for this behaviour but found nothing, I have done register cleans
and other means to remove this but ultimately I think that somehow Messenger
and other mail programs are using files that got removed with the
uninstallation of Microsoft Office Profect Professional 2003.

So my question now is what can I do to use my computer like normal without
having to install Project again which is impossible due to lacking space and
files. Right now it feels like Office project is haunting me trying to force
me to install itself as it pops up all the time and it's making me more than
mildly frustrated.
