Cannot save, edit or type in office 2003, please help?

Hi,
Office 2003 opens but most of the tools are faded out? There is only print,
open, page setup and a couple of other useless things?
Cannot type or edit a document in any of the office programmes? word, excel,
access, poerpoint and publisher?>
please help?
tried reinstallation and different versions of office 2003, no joy?? 8-(

It sounds as though your trial version expired. Is this a relatively new
computer? Did you pay *extra* for Office? If not, it's time to pay for the
version of Office that best suits your needs.

Do you by chance have a trial version of Office installed?
If so, you need to uninstall it and install a licensed
version of Office (don't try to install over the trial
version.)
