Cannot save edits in MOPM

For some reason in MOPM I can attempt to make edits and get the photo the way
I want it but when I click OK or Save As, the photo reverts back to the
original and I lose my changes. Anyone else have this issue?

It may be caused by the location of the original. Is it already saved in
"My Pictures"?
