Cannot see Excel and Envelopes and Labels window at the same time

This problem started around the time I installed IE7, but I also installed
some smaller updates too. The problem is that Word is blocking me from seeing
the “Envelopes and Labels†windows and the mailing address that is in a
different application. The other application (other than Word) is a
mainframe emulator, but I can reproduce the problem using Excel. I used to
be able to open “Envelopes and Labelsâ€, click on my Excel document on the
taskbar, click my Word document again, and I would see my Excel document in
the background with just the “Envelopes and Labels†window in the foreground.
Now when I try this same thing MS Word is in the background and “Envelopes
and Labels†is in the foreground, so I cannot see the address. Now I have to
write the address down on paper and then type it in to “Envelopes and Labelsâ€

If you’re not sure of a solution and you have IE6 installed let me know how
it works.

Select the Address with the mouse, press CTRL+Insert, click in the
Envelope window, Press Shift+Insert, all done.

Copy and Paste won't work with the emulator. I need a way to separate the
"Envelopes and Labels" window from the Word document.

Their monitors are small, so it would be difficult to read the emulator
screen if it was in a Window

Windows doesn't change the size of the characters in a window, you just
need to scroll.
