Cannot see Org Chart, only see Shape\Merge Format?

In MS Word 2002, I am trying to insert an Org Chart into a document and type
into it but all I see are the words SHAPE \*.MERGEFORMAT surrounded by
brackets. The Org Chart diagram shows up in Print Preview but not in the
document itself. P.S. My new e-mail is (e-mail address removed)

Press Alt+F9 to switch between display of field codes (what you
see now) and field results.
