My contacts are not available when selecting a new email.
If I choose to write an email then go to select who to
send to non are available to choose from.

I pulled my PST files from an old computer and migrated
them to my new outlook.

All my contacts are available for viewing and editing
under the contacts folder but non are available when I go
to email

Right click on the contact folder, select properties and on the Outlook
Address Book tab, ensure it is marked as an OAB. If this is already done,
then go to Tools->Email Accounts->Directories->View or Change. Is the
Outlook Address Book service installed? If not, back up one step and add
it.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, imraan asked:

You don't state your version of Outlook, which is required if you want an
accurate answer. For Outlook 2002/2003, the process is as follows:

Right-click your Contacts folder and choose Properties. Click the Outlook
Address Book tab. Check the box that says "Show this folder as an e-mail
Address Book". If it's grayed out, cancel that window and then click
Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories and address
books>Next. If you don't see the Outlook Address Book services, click Add
and add it. If you do, select it, click Remove, then Finish. Stop and
restart Outlook, go back to this point, and add it. Now go back to the
Contacts properties and click the "Show this folder..." box.
