When I try to select text by clicking and dragging the mouse, it doesn't work; I put the pointer at a spot and drag the mouse, and it simply doesn't highlight the dragged-over text. Other means of selecting seem OK - double-click a word, Shift-click to highlight a group of words, Command-A to select the whole document, etc. This method of selecting text is the most basic, and it works with all of my other apps, and has worked in earlier versions of Word, e.g. Word 2011.
So what might I be doing wrong? Is there an option somewhere that controls this? Or is it a bug?
