Cannot send or receive-- no error messages

I am trying to get my e-mail from Yahoo Plus account using Outlook 2003 over
Comcast as the ISP. I've checked all the settings multiple times. The
send/receive process seems to work (no error messages) yet nothing gets sent
or received. I can check my e-mail through a web portal and confirm that
there are messages to retrieve. Yahoo's website help has not helped and the
MS knowledge base is not helping either. Anyone else had this difficulty?
Could it be a firewall issue?

What do you show when you use the Test Account Settings?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

I have the same problem and the logging did not fix it. Per Microsoft Support
site this is a bug that has not been fixed. Seems as though a bug on an email
program that doesn't allow you to send or receive email is not a bug but a
broken program. if anyone finds a fix please let me know.

Are you sure you have the exact same problem? Could you describe your
problem to us?

Logging is not a fix - it is an aid in diagnosis of the problem that
someone is having.
