Cannot send out mail

Please provide more info - you haven't given anyone much to work with here.

What version & service pack level of Outlook? What mode, if using OL2000 or
prior? (you can find these out in help | about). What kind of email account?
Have you verified your outbound server settings with your ISP/mail
host/admins?

Did you check your email POP3 and SMTP server names. Sometimes its best to call your Internet provider to get your SMTP and POP addresses. Do you know your user name? Sometimes it is not your email address. ATT, SBC, YAHOO, ect have a place on their help page where you can find your addresses. Check with your ISP
