Cannot Send Outlook 2002 Attachments - "function cannot be performed" error

Server: Exchange 2000
Client System: XP Professional, SP-1 (just recently upgraded)
Outlook 2002 SP-2

All of a sudden, I cannot send any email with an attachment. Doesn't
matter what type of attachment, whether I am forwarding or creating a
new message. I get the error "Function cannot be performed because
the message has been changed." After I hit OK, the message gets put
in my Outbox without the attachment.

One workaround is to save the message and then try to send it again.
That works sometimes and at other times I get another error that
someone else is editing the message, do I want to save it. It saves
to my Inbox, I open the message and now the Send works. Weird, huh?

I've run a repair on Office but I am getting the same behavior. Any
ideas?

Found the answer for anyone else that ever experiences the problem:

I downloaded EZDetach a few weeks ago and then last week updated
XP with the latest Security Patches. After that, I could no longer
send any email with an attachment. I received the error "The function
cannot be performed because the message has been modified" and the
message without the attachment was put into my Outbox but not sent.
After I removed EZDetach, everything started working normally again.
