Cannot Shift Objects Off Sheet

Spent couple of hours on it so i believe people who experienced the same issue should also hear this.(XP)
I had been using Debra's "delete unused" code to clean the sheets with no problem. Today i received the error message "Cannot Shift Objects Off Sheet".. Read the forum messages to no avail as ı had no object on the sheet other than a mere windows freeze line. Anyway ı managed to think of unfreezing the window and run the code. It worked. Then i freezed the window again and run the code. It worked as usual. Now it works with freeze line with no problem as it did before. But if it works with freeze line why it stopped first time i don't understand.

Possibly...

The error message aslo appears if you hide (or delete) columns/rows and
some cell comments exist that extend 'off' the visible sheet.
