Cannot start Outlook - MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or wrong version - H

Brian

I had MS Office Pro 2003 on the computer and then updated to Office Pro 2007
Beta.
Had problems with Outlook - MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or wrong version.
Then tried to reinstall MS Office Pro 2003 - unfortunately without
uninstalling 2007 Beta version.
Now have a new message on start up - SQL Server installation is corrupt -
could not open SQLEVN70.RLL.
Tried uninstalling the beta version using Add/Remove programs but it is not
listed there. How else can I uninstall it completely.
Using System Restore to an earlier date still brings up these messages.

Run the setup from the BETA and choose, uninstall, install, repair or
whatever you like.

Many thanks.
I have deleted the contents of C:\Prog Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
and am now in the process of installing MS Office 2003 and checking it.
Seems OK.
The message I was getting of "SQL Server installation is corrupt or it has
been tampered with - could not open SQLEVN70.RLL" still puzzles me

Outlook still does not work correctly. I no longer have any Contacts,
Callendar or Address book . The Inbox is receiving but I am unable to send
messages, The rest of the programs in Office 2003 work but very slowly.

So when do you get this then?

Did you manage to uninstall/repair Office 2007 completely now?

This happened on Start Up. However, I reloaded MS Office 2007 Beta and
everything is back to normal. All the programs work and amazingly so does
Outlook. I think I will leave well alone for a while.
Many thanks
