Cannot Stop Alt+Shift+d (insert date) inserting a date that updates automatically.

I want to insert today's date in a Word Document.
I do this via pressing Alt+Shift+D.
Problem is ... it inserts today's date, but in the format that "Updates
Automatically". I can't seem to turn off this update automatically
feature.

When I don't use the Alt+Shift+D ShortCut it seems to work as I had
planned.

When I change the "Default", it doesnt seem to update the alt+shift+d
default. I have the "Update Automatically" box unchecked.

Any ideas ?
