Cannot upload Site

I have been building and updating a few websites for years, starting
with FP2000. Now today all of the sudden I get an error when trying to
post to the remote site......unable to open. So as not to waist anyones
time here is what I have tried

-Uninstalled and reinstalled FP2003
-There are no errors or problems with host
-I am DSL so no dialup issues and it is not a proxy
-I can obviousely get online
-it is hapening to both (2) active sites 2 different addresses
-no changes have been made to firewall (WinXP Pro SP2)
-Antivirus and Antispyware have not changed nor does the problem
resolve when these are disabled

Can anyone tell me what the H#$% is going on?

I have also reset the frontpage extensions on my host...still nothing!!

What version of FP are you using now?

If using FP 2003 open the remote site in FP and reverse publish
See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HP010499201033.aspx

If not make sure you can open your remote site in FP and run a tools recalculate hyperlinks

....also check your web size against what is allowed in your hosting package...you may be getting close to your limit.

Thanks for responding, however I cannot do this as I am unable to view
any files from the remote (Host) I am unable to connect to it and yes
it is FP 2003 (11.6356.6360) SP1

If you can't get to the site in IE, but can get to other sites in IE
- Then your host is the problem - contact them

Thanks Again, but I have 1GB Web space and I am no where near the limit
(each of the two sites have that). I am able to browse to any site with
IE, I just can't upload either of my sites through FP. Starting to look
Grim isn't it. I am going to transfer one of the sites to a different
system (same DSL though) and see what happens, I am leaning towards an
automatic update that may have installed causing some change on my
system that I am unaware of. The only other thing I have done is loaded
PhotoImpact 10 (for graphics) I guess I could uninstall that too.......I
am just shooting in the dark!

Double check your firewall, make sure it's allowing FP through...don't just turn it off, actually go in and check that FP is allowed.

Well, Thanks for all the suggestions, but I wiped the system over the
weekend and reloaded it all, and viola' everything is back to normal. I
think (because I haven't loaded any yet) it had to do with an update to
windows, but so far so good, both pages have been updated successfully.
Thanks again
