Cannot use the "@" sign in Word or Outlook.

Something strange is going on. for some reason my GM cannot use the @ sign in
word or outlook. I have tried it in Notepad, Excel and it works whitout any
problems there. The version we are using is Office 2003. Key combination is
"Alt Gr+2" Swedish keyboard. When trying this combination "Alt Gr+2" nothing
shows.

Doesn't work. I have tried all various combinations. That combination that
should work and do work is "Alt Gr+2" but not just in Outlook and Word.

I have actually fixed it in Outlook by turning of editing with words. So now
i can write @ signs in outlook, but the problem still remains in words.
