Cannot view project in Web access MS Proj 2002

When I click on the link to view a project the view
project screen shows the grid control but it is a just a
small box in upper left corner of the screen and choose a
view, view options, and Filter group search are grayed out.

The group you are assigned to does not have permissions to
view Projects in the "View a Project" section of Web
Access.

In Admin -> Manage users and groups -> Groups
have the administrator set the permission for "See
Projects in Project Views" to Allow for your group
(Administrators, Executives, Portfolio Managers, Project
Managers, Resource Managers, Team Leads, Team Members).

Your group assignment can be seen from
Admin -> Manage users and groups -> users -> select your
name from the drop down. Note what Groups: you have listed.

I have gotten this to work but when I choose Tasks Summary
in the choose view drop down the same behavior occurs
where nothing is displayed int he grid and I cant get it
back becuase the Choose a view is now grayed out. I
havent figured out what causes it to work after this
occurs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Upgrade MDAC on your client machine to 2.8. Make sure that the server is
also at this level.
