cannot view slide in Powerpoint 2003

I'm searching for an answer to why this happened. A
powerpoint presentation was created using Office XP. It
worked fine until we tried to view it using Office 2003.
Some of the slides are all black when we view it within
Powerpoint 2003 but it's ok when we view it using
Powerpoint XP.
Can someone tell me why this is happening.

Are the different versions of PPT on different computers? Do those
computers run the same version of Windows?

I ask this because video drivers can often cause odd display issues like
this. You might want to see if updating video drivers or changing
hardware accleration helps at all.
