After recently installing MS Office SP3, I noticed that I
can no longer access links or buttons in emails I
receive, no matter what the link is - even a test email
with link from myself.
When I click on a link or button in an email, it gets as
far as opening IE6, but it doesn't show me the page.
Instead, it's blank.
This doesn't help when I'm trying to update, confirm, or
unsubscribe from something & the email asks me to click
on the link.
If the URL is spelled out in the email, I have to copy it
then paste it into the browser to gain access, which is
tedious. I use to be able to just click on the link & my
browser would take me there automatically.
When the link URLs are not visible, I have to "View
Source" & see if I can figure out the URL to access, so
that I can copy it from the source code & paste it into
the browser.
Right-clicking on the link to "Copy Shortcut" for pasting
into the browser isn't an available option available
either.
