Can't access remote site

Dale

I am setting up a new computer running Windows Vista Home Premium with
Service Pack 1 for a friend who has been using FrontPage 2000 to maintain a
remote site. After installing FrontPage 2000 on the new computer, I cannot
access the remote site. I used the OPEN WEB command and typed in the site's
URL. Upon pressing ENTER, I receive the following message: "The folder
..... isn't accessible. The folder may be located on an unavailable volume
or protected with a password."

If I perform the same task on my home computer (also running Vista Home
Premium with Service Pack 1) I can access the site just fine. Something is
obviously different between these two installs. Can anyone offer any
suggestions? What am I missing?

The folder "http://Website" isn't accessible. The folder may be located on
an unavailable volume or protected with a password.

Alternatively, you may wish to download the FREE Jimco Open Web which
bypasses the possibly corrupted web folders: www.jimcosoftware.com

Thank you very much for the guidance here. The Jimco Open Web add-in worked
like a charm!

Regards,
Dale.
