Can't access this newsgroup thru IE

Frank

Hi -
I'm on Windows XP Pro SP2, and IE 6 (latest version).
For some reason I cannot access any Microsoft newsgroup
on IE anymore, including this one. I've never had a
problem with access on IE before - I'm using MSN Explorer
now to access this newsgroup. With IE, what I get is that
in the portion of the screen where the newsgroup would
be, I get a heading that states "Sorry, The Page you
requested is not available" and several links below the
heading to various microsoft help pages.
I appreciate any ideas. Many Thanks, Frank

Hey guys disregard my question below. I reset my internet security level to
'medium' and that seemed to fix it. Thanks, Frank

How do I do that ? I tried typing in 'Frontpage.client' and clicking
'subscribe' and nothing happened. I also tried 'Microsoft.frontpage.client'
and that didn't go either. Thanks for helping,...Frank

In IE, use this link:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.frontpage.client
This will set up Outlook Express and open the newsgroup.

You are still better off using OE as your newsreader
