Can't add entities to my relationship diagram any more

The ability to add tables to an Entity Relationship diagram in Visio 2003
seems to have broken.. When adding an entity to the diagram, the properties
page just shows 'No Properties' and it just seems to get added as an empty
'shell' (there is no 'Database Properties' item in the context menu for the
item, I just get 'Copy','Paste','View','Format','Shape'). I'm using Visio
2003 for Enterprise Architects. I can still edit the properties of existing
tables in the diagram, I just can't seem to add new ones... The same goes
for Relationships as well.

Can anyone please help?
