can't add row exsisting sheet

error come up "to prevent possible loss of data micosoft excel cannot shift
nonblank cells off the worksheet" What does this mean and how can I correct
it.

Even if you can't see it, Excel has more data than you think and trying to
insert columns or rows when Excel thinks it may move it outside 65536 rows
or 256 columns limit and therefore be lost is triggering this.

To reset XL's usedrange try this

I have also found this to happen when you have cells formatted, even if you
have no data otherwise in those cells in the last so many rows/columns that
you are attempting to insert.
