Can't add row or column fields in PivotTable

Hi, when I try to create a Pivot Table in Access 2002, I am only able to add
fields to the "detail" section. If I choose to add a field or column, the
"add to" button is grayed and doesn't work. I have tried this following the
steps in the example "my first pivot table" or something like that from MS KB
and the same thing happens.

Does anybody know why I can't create PivotTables?

SP-3 fixed it,
or perhaps it was a problem with a converted database...

P.S. Sorry for posting this 7 times (!), but I was getting an error message
telling me my question wasn't posted and to try again later...
