Can't assign Delegate in Outlook 2003, with Exchange Server 2003

Hi Theresa,
That icon does mean it is online (or so it thinks it
is). At any rate, try this to see if you have connection
issues.
In Outlook 2003, click View - Navigation Pane (make sure
it is checked)
Right click on your Inbox and select Sharing...
This should open the Inbox Properties dialog box at the
Permissions tab. Click "Add" and pick one of the users
in your Gobal Address List (GAL) and give them Reviewer
permissions. Click OK.

Now go that persons system and see if they can open your
Inbox.

NOTE: Clicking on Delegates under options can take a
considerable length of time depending on a variaty of
items (such as AD layout, WAN links, LAN utilization,
etc.)

One other tip, try switching to cached mode to see if
this helps..it's a long shot.
