Can't change HTML email footers (I tried changing IE settings)

I have Outlook 2000 on XP Pro. I am printing emails and cannot have the
date printed at the bottom. I have removed this from the defined print
styles in Outlook and I have removed the footer from IE Page Setup
settings. It still appears.

What am I doing wrong?
