I'm using Office 2003 Professional SP2 running XP SP2. My machine had to be
shut down abnormally for some reason and when I booted back up again Office
told me it had to check my files to make sure everything was ok. All my
messages are fine but the only problem now is that all the menu options to be
able to compose a new message, new contact, reply to a message, change
options etc. have been disabled ie. the options are there but they're greyed
out. I've tried re-booting again with no effect. This smells like some kind
of security measure to stop me from an account illegally. The odd thing is I
can still receive and read messages as they arrive.
