Can't configure timeline in MS Visio 2007

I'm using MS Vision 2007. I've not had this problem before. I'm using a
timeline (block, ruler, etc) and right-click to configure timeline - nothing
happens. I've tried using the Shape > Actions > Configure Timeline and I get
nothing as well. Same thing with chaning dates and formats. I can, however,
change the timeline type. And I can do everything else on the right-click
menu from there on down.

Have I inadvertently set some setting that is blocking this? And if so, what
can I do?

Jenn make sure you have enable automated events selected. Go to tool >
options > advanced tab and make sure a check is placed in enable automated
events box.

Thank you! This fixed the problem - I have no idea how this came unchecked
but it's all resolved.

I am having this exact issue, however this fix did not help me at all. The
enable automated events box is checked and I am still unable to configure the
time line or any of the milestones I place on it. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Hi Mike

I had the selfsame problem and already had the 'enable automated
events box' checked.
I did some further investigaton and found that I had the 'Tools\Trust
Centre\Add-ins\Disable all Application Add-ins
events box (may impair functionality)' check box checked. I unchecked it
and everything now seems to to be fine.

I think I checked it when I was trying to resolve a problem with the
bluetooth add-in.

Hope this helps
