Can't connect to other computer

My partner and I have been using Groove for a few months and recently have
not been able to connect to each other. We don't know what has caused this.
We're working with Groove 3.1a. We both see ourself in the Workspace and the
other as offline.

Is groove icon in the task bar next to the time? If so, right click on
it..see if "work offline" is checked. If so, uncheck it.

It's not checked on mine. Will it still do this if checked only on my
partner's? I'll get her to look tomorrow (Tue Aug22).

Do you have any firewall settings turned on? You may want to check on that..

If one or the other was set to work offline you could expect this behavior.
HAs anything been added to the either computer that would coincide with this
behavior?

Do either of you use your account on multiple computers? If so you should
make sure that there are no devices that are out of synch. This can cause
this behavior. Click Options>Preferences and the Account tab. Check the list
of devices. Remove any old or out of synch devices and reboot.

Thanks for all the replies. In the end the issue was with wireless
connectivity on my partner's computer. She was able to connect to the web
and email, but it was very slow. When she got herself connected on a wire,
the Groove issue went away.
