Hi
I have MS Project Server 2003 (w/out SharePoint) installed on Win2k
RUS + sp4 + MSDE2000(+SP3a)
I have Project Pro 2003 installed on WinXP ENG.
BUT I can't use Enterprise Options
When I connect to project server account (administrator) the Pro is
hang about 5 mins and then gives me a message
"Cannot Connect.
Project was unable to establish a connection with the selected Project
server.This could be caused by a loss of network connectivity, invalid
user name or password, lack of an enterprise global template, or
problems with the project server or database, or your project server
may noth ave enterprise features enabled."
After proper scrutiny microsoft.public.project.pro_and_server archives
I assert that there are some problems with multilanguate Serv and Pro.
I have took these steps
1) Set "English" in Contol Panel-Region Setting
2) Set English in IE->Tools->Language button
3) use Registry to set languate
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\MS Project\Codepages]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\MS
Project\Codepages\1252] //ENG ON CLIENT
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\MS
Project\Codepages\1254\1251] //RUS ON SERVER
But these actions have no result((
I still get this message.
Plz help me to fix it
PS: I successfully connect from client to server ProjectWeb
PPS: I successfully connect from client to server MSDE
PPPS: I can successfully publish project via Collaborate->Publish->All
