Hi G Hodges,
this problem could happen, if you are offline and if you wanted to connect
to a remotemail.
If you have no connection to your LDAP Server
You can solve this error, if you are installing Office XP Service Pack 3 (if
you have installed Office XP), or you have the chance to clear the LDAP
directory.
Tools > email accounts > view or change existing directories or address
books > and there delete the LDAP directory
