Can't convert my 60 day trial

My trial version (which came with my computer) has now expired and the wizard
appears with convert. However when I click on this I just get the add remove
buttons or reinstall. Tried both and it says "microsoft office 2003 has been
updated successfully" but the trial has not converted. I don't want to
uninstall as I'll loose all my emails and can't afford to do this. If anyone
can help I'd be most grateful
