Hi

I have a new HP PC with Office 2007 Trial installed on it with an Activation
Assistant that I click the 1 button to get a 60 Trial key. When clicking this
I don't get a key but pop up message.

"The Microsoft Office Activation Assistant was unable to request your trial
activation key. Please check your Internet connection and try again. If the
error continues, go to www.microsoft.com/office/pctrial2007 to request a
trial activation key. "

So i then goto website and click on the link which takes me to here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/products/FX101759651033.aspx

I then click the "Activate the free 60-day trial", which advises me to use
the same tool and also provides link to "request a trial activation key
online." so i click this and it takes me to
http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/products/HA101759011033.aspx

I then choose "Request a trial activation key online" and click on step 2
"Visit the Microsoft Office trial key request page. "

Which then takes me to:
http://trial.trymicrosoftoffice.com/trialaustralia/oemsplash.aspx?culture=en-AU

Now the only thing displayed in the middle of the page is "
Get a Trial Key / To obtain a Trial Activation Key, please select the
product from the list below and click on 'Get Key' "

But I have no options to select the product choices

I have rung HP and they say they are unable to help, I called my local
microsoft toll free number and they say they are also unable to help. I would
like to get some help and get a 60 day trial key.

Regards

Andrew

You can uninstall everything about Office 2007 and then you can download
a new trial version from Microsoft Website.

<http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/product.aspx?sku=3203819&culture=en-US&re_ms=variant-b>

If you try to install this trial version, you have to uninstall
EVERYTHING related to Office 2007 otherwise it will fail. Also, I
understand that in Office 2007, this trial doesn't work because the
expiry date is shown as 31 December 2002 and this is a bug in the trial
version.

Hope you know the full facts about this. However, Microsoft is also
providing Office 2010 Beta and this expires in September 2010 so you may
want to try this route as well.
