cant create event vb code

i get msg: "The location for the Visual basic or the c# project cannot be
found or cannot be accessed." when I try to add event code to a control. Cant
seem to find anyone that has a clue as to what is wrong! Help?

Check whether the location that is specified via Tools > Form Options >
Programming > "Project location for Visual Basic and C# code" exists and/or
that you can access it.
