Cant Create PWA

I have installed Project 2007 in a sharepoint server farm. I am unable to
create a PWA in the shared services area. I go through the motions of
entering the url, the admin, and the database server. It appears to work,
but the status only says waiting for resource for about 20 -30 seconds and
then disappears. The databases are never created. I have one web front end,
one search/index server, one database server and one server dedicated to
project.

Mark:

You're not giving us much to go on here. Are you logging in using the
account that you set for the SSP identity? Using another account might cause
this behavior.
