Can't delete an email

Hello

One email message is causing my Outlook to freeze/crash as soon as I try to
open it. I then will have to close everything. How can I delete it ?

Please I am new in Mac and would appreciate any step-by-step help.

A step-by-step will be difficult for me as I am not able to run Outlook.

I am guessing that the problem is that Outlook is trying to preview the
message. You need to turn off the preview pane. You should then be able
to select the message and delete it.
