Can't delete empty rows

Hi

When I hit F5 and GO TO SPECIAL -> LAST CELL - it brings me to row 4473.
Then I select rows 14 to 4473 inclusive to delete, but they are not deleted.
How do I trim these empty rows from my worksheet?

Hi Rob,
enter 14:4473 in the name box as the easiest way to select those row.
Edit, Delete
File, Save

I have a macro that allows you to pick the cell you want to become
the lastcell run the makelastcell macro.
