Can't delete header-only item from Outlook Inbox

I have a header-only item sitting in my inbox from Jan 2006 that I can't
delete. The header was downloaded from an ISP that no longer exists and no
matter what I do, it remains in the inbox with a line through it. Outlook
insists that I need to download it from the server but clearly I can't. Are
there any utilities that will allow me to delete it? If not, any suggestions?

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2

I found the solution(s) here: 'Deleting Email Headers From Outlook 2003
(solved) [Sitemap] - vista-xp forums'

The solution that worked for me was:
Right click the header in the Inbox, select "Delete" {or just press the
'Delete' button on the keyboard)
On the Tools menu, point to Send/Receive, point to the account, and
"Process marked header".

If that doesn't work for you then try:
Tools->email accounts: open the account that the unwanted email headers
were received on, then note down all the settings for that account.
Remove or rename the Account,
then mark the unwanted headers for deletion (using the delete key),
then "Send/Receive All"
then recreate/rename the Account that was removed/renamed.
