Can't delete ICON on Desktop

One ICON i have on my desktop, I can’t remove. A message

pops up saying: CANNOT DELETE FILE, CANNOT READ FROM THE SOURCE FILE OR
DISK.

Look in Documents and Settings, click whatever user that created the file, click
desktop, see if you can delete it there.
