Can't download Access templates

Betty Boop

I am using Access 2007 and Windows XP. I downloaded several Access 2007
templates in the past, but now when I try to download one, I get the
following error message "Template...could not be instantiated." SQL
Distibuted management objects (SQL-DMO) must be on the machine running
Microsoft Office Access. I have looked through the site, and found several
others who had the same problem, but couldn't find a solution. I can
download all other types of 2007 files, except Access. Any ideas?

SQLDMO is an object library that was targeted towards SQL Server 7.0
and 2000.

Do you have SQL Server 7.0 client tools on your desktop? SQL 2000
cleitn tools?

I'd find the name of the SQLDMO DLL and register is using REGSVR32..
or consider reinstalling sQL 2000 client tools with the latest service
pack.

Betty Boop,

I had this problem once but it is because I several versions loaded on y
CPU. Try opening Access 2007 and while it is open go try downloading the
template, worked for me!
