can't e-mail documents from office 2007

Daune

I have Vista and it came with Windows Mail. I recently switched t
Windows Live Mail as my defaul mail carrier. When I create a documen
in MS Office 2007 and attempt to e-mail it I get this error message
"Log on failed. You must log on to Microsoft Exchange to access you
address book. Error Code: "unspecified error".

What do I need to do in order to e-mail documents from MS Office?

Remove the Exchange server from your profile and install your correct POP3
or IMAP account.

I can't seem to get to the area you are referring to..."My Profile". I
doesn't have any e-mail info there

Sorry...there isn't a "Mail" icon. I don't want to screw anything up so
I'll have my son look at your replies to figure it out. I was told to
create a document in Office and save it, then go to my e-mail and attach
that file to the e-mail. In the past with my old Office I was able to
e-mail my document directly from Office...I didn't have to save it and
attach it.

Thank you very much for your diligence...really appreciate your
responses.

If you are using Vista 64 bit, you need to enable 32 bit .cpl in Control
Panel.

Milly,

Problem solved! I had to customize the Quick Access Tool bar and ad
"send to mail recipient" to that tool bar in Office.

Thanks for your help...it's good to know there are people like you ou
