can't edit ppt file after installing new 2003 version from 2002

file was secured with passwordsin ppt2002. After installing ver2003,my 1st
level password is ok but the 2nd level password is considered incorrect, why?
Anything to do with the fact that iuse different identity to register office
2003 from my pc's id??

When you refer to first and second level passwords, do you mean that you gave it
an "Open" password and a "Modify" password? What is the exact message you are
getting? Have you activated the software and applied Service Pack 1?
