Are you using PowerPoint 2003 on both systems? It's a new "feature" that
we're all grumbling about. In the meantime the work around would be to
install the needed fonts on your laptop, or avoid fonts that are not on both
systems. You'll need to open the presentation on your desktop and change
the fonts in that case.
