Can't edit/see VLOOKUP formula

Several months ago I created my first VLOOKUP formula, which is working great, except now I want to edit the formula and I do not have access. The only thing I can do is select the value from the original list.

Question, how do I edit/see the original VLOOKUP formula?

Microsoft Excel 2008 for MAC
Latest installed update: 12.2.1

Click in the cell, and it will be right there in the Formula Bar. Go to the
View menu and make sure "Formula Bar" is checked.

Cheers
