I have a couple of applications, one running in Access 2000 and one in
Access 2002 where some, but not all, users receive an error message as
follows when starting the application from a shortcut on their desktop:
"Cannot find the file 'C:\bankrecs\bankrecs.mdb' (or one of its components).
Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required fields and
libraries are available."
When the clicks the Ok button in this dialog box the application starts
normally.
Bankrecs.mdb is on drive C: and contains all the forms, queries and reports,
and this mdb links to the data files which are stored on the server.
I would appreciate any thoughts on how to prevent this error message from
appearing.
