Can't find the product key

It was installed when i bought it, i have tried the key underneath the laptop
but it does not want to accept it.. I have also looked on all the papers i
have received but i can't find it.. Pls can someone help?!

The key on the laptop is for Windows, not Office.
If Office is still installed, there are several free utilities that will
show you the key.
Google for them.
If it is no longer installed, then you just HAVE to find that key.

Could it have been a trial version that was installed? After the trial
you need to buy the product.
