can't format document using form fields.

How can I get form fields to format properly in a letter?

I made a document using drop down form fields. I want the
finished document to appear as regular formatting, but I
can't get the form fields to split their contents. If a
form field contains text that will not completely fit on
a particular line, the entire text in that form field is
put on the next line, creating large blank spaces on the
right hand margin.

How can I get the contents of a single form field to be
split at the regular right tab margin?

I don't believe it's possible as long as it remains a form field. Once a
form has been completed, you can convert form fields into regular text by
selecting them and pressing Ctrl+Shift+F9; they will then wrap. So, this is
something you'd want to do only after its need to be a form has passed.
